Gemini has dedicated more than 12 years to the mental and behavioral health field, bringing a compassionate, patient-centered approach shaped by diverse clinical and community experiences.
She began her career as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist, providing early intervention services for children with autism spectrum disorder. She later expanded her expertise as a health coach and behavioral health counselor before contributing to suicide prevention research with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she participated in a statewide study examining factors associated with suicide in Illinois.
For the past eight years, Gemini has worked as a psychiatric registered nurse, caring for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across a broad range of psychiatric settings. Her experience includes acute and intensive inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatric services, outpatient psychiatry, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), detoxification services, medical-surgical psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and pediatric behavioral health.
In addition to her clinical work, Gemini is passionate about mental health advocacy and education. She has participated in community outreach, public speaking engagements, and youth-focused initiatives through organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), while also mentoring adolescents and young adults.
Gemini specializes in treating anxiety and depression, with a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents. She believes every individual has the capacity to transform life’s challenges into opportunities for healing and growth.
