Behavioral therapy at Serene Health
Three ways to do the work
Every path starts the same way: a licensed mental health care provider, guided by several varied theoretical principles and approaches, focused on giving you a professional and pleasant experience. The difference is who is in the room.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one with a licensed provider. A private space to explore your thoughts and feelings, at your pace.
Learn more ↓Family Therapy
The family as a system, greater than the sum of its parts. Healthier patterns, together.
Learn more ↓Couples Therapy
Better communication, successful conflict management, and a stronger emotional connection.

Individual Therapy
A dedicated hour that is fully, unapologetically yours.
Our individual therapy is one-on-one between a licensed provider and a patient. Our behavioral therapy allows individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings with a licensed mental health care provider, who is guided by several varied theoretical principles and approaches to give you a professional and pleasant experience.
People come to individual therapy for many reasons: anxiety, low mood, stress, grief, a major life transition, or simply the sense that something needs to change. Whatever brings you in, your provider meets you without judgment and works with you toward what you want out of life.
- A private, judgment-free space to talk
- Coping skills and tools you can use right away
- Approaches matched to your goals, not a script
- Steady progress at a pace you set
For the whole household
Family Therapy
Your family is a system. We care for all of it.
Family therapy emphasizes family relationships, interactional patterns, and reciprocity among all family members. The unifying principle in all theories of family therapy is the focus on the family as system, in which the family is greater than the sum of its parts.
Families reach out when communication keeps breaking down, when a child or teen is struggling, or when a big change, a move, a loss, a new family structure, puts strain on everyone. In session, every member gets a voice, and the family learns healthier ways of hearing and supporting each other.
- Every family member gets a voice
- Healthier patterns of communication
- Support through transitions and stress
- Practical tools your family keeps for life
For partners
Couples Therapy
Reconnect, communicate, and grow as a team.
Our licensed providers assist couples with better communication, managing challenges, developing successful conflict management, and enhancing emotional connection and satisfaction with behavioral therapy.
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit. Couples come to us to break out of recurring arguments, rebuild trust, navigate big decisions, parent as a team, or simply feel close again. Your provider gives both partners a neutral, respectful space and practical ways forward.
- Communicate so you both feel heard
- Turn recurring conflict into understanding
- Rebuild trust and emotional connection
- A neutral space with a licensed provider
What therapy looks like at Serene Health
Professional. Pleasant. Personal.
Our providers draw on several varied theoretical principles and approaches, then shape them around the person, family, or couple in the room. No two treatment plans are the same, because no two people are.
Licensed, Experienced Providers
Every therapist at Serene Health is a licensed mental health care provider, committed to professional and compassionate care.
Varied, Evidence-Informed Approaches
Your provider is guided by several theoretical frameworks, including cognitive behavioral therapy, and chooses what fits you best.
A Plan Built Around Your Goals
Early sessions clarify what you want from therapy, so every session after has a direction you chose together.
Whole-Person, Coordinated Care
When it helps, therapy is coordinated with psychiatric care and medication management inside the same practice.
Therapy at Serene Health is designed to feel professional and pleasant, a place you actually want to return to.
