Marlene Norwood

Marlene Norwood is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing since 2011. Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of populations and programs across Los Angeles County, including FSP, HSSP, VA Services, TAY, Juvenile Detention, WRAP, and Substance Use Recovery. Marlene has extensive experience with high-acuity clients and is skilled in crisis intervention and management. She focuses on creating a warm, empathetic, and safe therapeutic space that encourages participation and supports progress toward treatment goals. Marlene values client feedback and believes a strong therapeutic bond is built through trust, openness, and collaboration. To maintain balance and provide the highest level of care, she enjoys hiking and swimming as part of her self-care routine.
