Hi, I’m Megan Caverly—an Associate Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I chose the field of social work out of a deep commitment to advocacy and a passion for creating spaces where people feel truly heard, valued, and supported.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and strengths-based strategies to foster emotional well-being and personal growth. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and am currently working under clinical supervision toward full licensure.
I offer hybrid therapy options to best meet my clients’ needs—with in-person sessions available at our San Diego office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and telehealth appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Whether you’re facing a major life transition or simply looking for space to process and grow, I aim to create a supportive and affirming environment where you can build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change.
